a friend of mine has finaly desided to sell his rifle.......unfortunaly he is sick and no longer has the ability to use the rifle and wants to sell it.

so i am soon to be the proud new owener of a searcy presidential 577 nitro box lock top lever.

that and my 505 should make one real nice dou for my up coming elephant hunts.

Congratulations! There was one of those for sale on gunbroker.com last year and the guy was willing to take 12K for it. Quite a good price for that rifle.

the guy has to go back to africa to pick the damn thing up something about not having the proper paperwork to reimport into the use but now its ok.....

hes going back at the end of may to get the gun and if everything gose as planned and i like the gun i will buy it.
