Attended my first Dallas Club Safari Convention yesterday (Saturday) and LOVED it! Wow! It was great and I achieved my personal goal of holding every double I came across....man, I learned sooo much from the vendors and everyone was very helpful and generous with their time. The chaps at the Kreighoff booth were great and kept handing me rifles to "try on." Champlins had a very interesting double with a 16" (? very short) barrel that was just damn cool looking. *Will be attending next year for sure. On a side not, I enjoyed talking with John Sharp....now that is a BIG man...shoulders as wide as a football lineman! Neat guy. | ||
