SnowwolfeCZ .458 O&U
I was just reading this months issue of the American Rifleman and they reported CZ was releasing an O&U in .458 WM.
Does anyone else have any details about it?

JudgeGAbout 7 years ago, CZ imported about 20 into the states. They were two grades. The "higest" was pure Moblile Home Rococo, gaudy and looking like a Weatherby on steroids with the "plain Jane" being a very sturdy and functional rifle.
Bill73 (Bal) now has one. I believe that he is very happy with it.
The new versions have the same action, but are inbetweeen (appropriately) in being "dressed up). While not traditional side-by-sides, they work and won't break. JMHO

jeffeossoE, i think there was 8 of them imported, for demo,(but that's not important) in 1999-2000. Rob converted one to 458 lott, and it is a GREAT fun gun, Mike had/has one, and left it, .. what a ball to shoot.
8.25#, QUICK to shoot, fast, accurate, and ejector gun ...
Not, however, the prettiest double i've ever handled

SnowwolfeI am aware CZ used to offer one but the article said this was a new release.
The new rifle is mentioned on page 49 on the April 09 issue.
