Is there a load book that covers most of the NE cartridges up to at least the 577NE?

I have Graeme Wrights book, but some of the data is for older powders!

Mac,

I find Graeme Wright's and Art Alphin's book have the most data. I trust Graeme's data more.
The latest Hornady book has a few NE loads.

Thanks guys that is what I needed! I'll pick up them all. I have a ton of very old load manuals, and many articles from Ross Seifried (spl) on some very old doubles I own, and have owned over the years. As I said much of the data is for older powders. So what I'm looking for is some for many of the newer powders, and bullets that have become available in the last few years.

..............Again Thanks for the info! tu2

Thanks Todd! I will check them out, and buy the manuals as well! I like having hard copy in my collection.

van der Walt's book is about the best I have read.

Very informative, well written, and lots of pictures and stories of DG hunts.

Thanks Rusty! What my post was about is that I want a hard cover load library of books that are more up to date with all the new powders.

I have about a dozen load books that were printed before many of the cartridges for Nitro Express cartridges were anything but a mystery in the USA. Those cartridges were never included in any of those old books.

Many years ago when one got an old double rifle it simply started a two or three year string of experimenting just to find something that you could make brass from, and then take the chance of damaging the double with experimental loads with the rifle tied to an old tire, and remotely set of by a string from behind a barrier. Those were some interesting days for sure.

I simply want a collection of hard copy books that include the most NE rounds I can find!

Mac, you are really going to enjoy Pierre's book. It is much more than a reloading manual.

Thanks Mike, I almost bought a copy of his book back a few months ago when someone here posted a link to it. but never got around to it, and forgot the Author's name!

As someone said there is a wealth of information on the internet on the NE cartridges, but I simply like books! Thanks for the Author's name!

I have all three, i find Graeme and Pierre's books invaluable, to the point where i have encountered some problems recently very well described and remedied in Graeme's book. Art's book is quite good too.

Good reading.

Cheers, Chris
