What 9.3 bullet would be the recommended medicine for Mr. leopard? I'm shooting it out a Merkel 141.

I would say the Woodleigh RN would fit the bill quite well.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! What caliber exactly? The Swift A-Frame in either 250-gr. or 300-gr. would work wonders.

all 9.3's are .366, but I'm assuming he's shooting a 9.3x74r because it is a double.

A-frames or woodleighs. Might want something lighter than the 310 or 286 grain bullets b/c you don't want it to cut through him too quickly without expending it's energy first, and a little mass velocity is good on cats. Obviously, you should probably stick with what regulates the best in your merkel. Bonne Chance.

I believe I would use the 286 gr Nosler Partition. The velocity will be good enough to impart the shock affect that leopards respond so well to. The front will open fast and cause massive tissue damage. The rear will hold together with enough mass to break bones including the spine. Looks like the perfect leopard bullet to me. I shot my leopard with a 375 H&H 270 gr Nosler Partition and it worked wonders including traveling at leat 14"
down the lenfgth of the spine.

I agree! The 286 gr Nosler partition is perfectly designed for leopard, or cougar. Opens fast, but will shoot through, for a good blood trail if a little off center! This bullet works perfectly in my Merkel 140E, with a regulating load of IMR 4064!

I'm not sure my weapon of choice would be a double. Not from a blind anyway.Even with a scope, it would have to gather a lot of light to be useful in the typical very low light conditions encountered.

286 Nosler Partition works on whitetails, should work on Leopards.

+1 on the Partitions. I used them in a 9.3 x 62 bolt gun last year for PG and they worked great. Set up quick but still penetrated well.
Perfect in a 9.3 double for spots.

My rifle is a 9.3x74R Merkel 141 double with a 30mm tube Kahles with a lighted reticle. It works very well in low light as I will probably be dealing with on a bait. I have read the concerns with the barnes bullets on doubles as they are not true driving band bullets.

The a frame's may be a little hard for both the cat and the double. The nosler or woodleigh what ever shot the best.
