My good friend Jefferydenmark has just chronographed my 10 bore BPE loads. 900 grain bullet at 1745 Ft/Sec which translates into over 6000 Ft/Ibs of pure pushingpower. Pictures will follow later.
!0 drams of swiss 1.5Fg did the trick. Smiler

What is the weight of that BP double? What would you say the recoil is? Doesn't sound like just a helluva lot of fun for the shooter!!

jacketed or cast bullets? I am doing a similar project on a 10ga 3 1/2 goose gun. Cut the barrels to 22-23" and thread them for rifles choke tubes.
3" L&R, L&R at 50 yards will be nirvana.

Eeker

With that kind of power, you wouldn't need to crank the engine in your car if you needed to go to Germany! Just point your car facing north, shoot your 10 bore, and you'd propel yourself backwards into Deutschland!

Big Grin
