Hey all, I picked up a Sabatti double last year in 450 3-1/4. It’s one of the accurate ones ….. Anyone have an idea how I can replace or modify the rear sight to a flatter blade? The factory one has a very deep V. So when aiming; the sights blade on either side of the V cover up much of your reference points on an animal. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Just use a small flat file to angle the sides of the V to your liking. When you get it right, use some emery paper to smooth out the file marks and touch up the shiny parts with some touch up cold blue. You're good to go.

What Hollis said, or get a blank sight from Brownell’s and file to your liking (that’s what I did on one of my Sabatti’s to work with my hand loads). Easy to do. Karl Evans

Or give Master Gunsmith Ken Owen in Memphis a call or ship it to him, he is a master at making these shoot tight groups!! 470EDDY
