Different quality-grades, different structure and colour.
And prices of course...

The young stock-maker from Heym preparce an vorend for an double rifle...

The forend at the beginning and at the end. Between this is pure handwork for 4,5 hours...

An high-grade stock for an Heym. Ist an sidelock and the wood will be prepard for the steel-system.

Maybe for the USA...

At the end of the Long working-process the stock will be oild by Hand and polished. This takes some days, every two hours... a little bit more...
