My Chapuis is regulated for the 286 grain Normas. I usually shoot 270 grain Speers because they are easy to find. I've often wondered about the 232 load that Norma produces. Has anyone tried the 232 grain factory loads in their Chapius? If so did they shoot to regulation? Or maybe a handload for that bullet weight that regulated? Just curious. I have killed a few deer and pigs with the Norma 232 Vulcan factory loads in my Chapuis. They worked good. You will just have to shoot them in your gun and see how they regulate. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY

+1 I know a few who use / have tried them. A nice light pig / deer bullet. .

Check these 286 grain bullets out. Look at the price. http://www.grafs.com/retail/ca...duct/productId/12622 This is what they look like from going through close to 3 feet of hog and breaking the opposite shoulder. Weight was 260 grains. This is what two of them looked like. I was hitting a metal silhouette of a bear at 400 yards with this bullet 4 weeks ago. I probably wouldn't take this bullet on a high dollar hunt but it is perfect for deer and hogs. I hunt, not to kill, but in order not to have played golf.... DRSS

Thanks all. Might pick up a box and give them a try in my Chapuis and my drilling. Probably also need to send Graf's some money and lay in a supply of those S&B's. I won't be hitting silhouettes at 400 yards with them, unless they are the size of a volkswagon. I'm just not that good! Thanks again, bfly Work hard and be nice, you never have enough time or friends.

I tried them in my 9.3x74R Chapuis with little success. I'm sticking with the weight the gun was originally regulated for. Oxon
