Any recommendations for a temporary cheek pad for a double rifle? I scoped my old 375 H&H so need a cheek pad as the scope is a bit high.

For all I know such things might affect regulation. However, I had a high scope on a military-stocked Mauser and made my own cheek piece by upholstering a bit of tyre rubber that had been moulded to shape. The shiny leather not only got my face up where needed but stretched 'forward' a little under recoil, making it very comfortable to shoot with.
