There is a nice 9.3 x 74r on Gunbroket with claw mounted Swarovski, nice entry level double.

If you are asking me, and the item is: #86181050 on gun broker, I'll just say, If I didn't already have two double rifles chambered for the 9.3X74R cartridge, I'd be jumping on that rifle in a heartbeat! thumb

If I had the money you wouldn't be asking about it because I would now own it.

I don't see anywhere on the above double that states a $5500 price tag!

Harms, the post above was what I was responding to! The only double rifle I could find at GUNBROKER with a $5500 price tag was the one I made the comment about. Confused

And it shows that I'm still the high bidder. But the reserve isn't met and I'm not going higher.
I've got too many 9.3's already!

Silly me, scratch that last statement... There are never too many! Big Grin

Beware guys, I ran into a "good deal" on a double last year from a seller with a NR feedback rating. Turned out not to be a real deal. I bid on and won the rifle but he didn't have it. Then I recieved an email from gunbroker warning me of a potential scam. I'm not saying this isn't on the level but I have sold a few hundred guns on gunbroker and it doesn't hurt to CYA. If I won this gun I would prefer it to be sent from an FFL dealer with a retail store front that can be verified, otherwise I would require the seller send it COD.
If it sounds too good to be true????

Bear in mind we are talking about two different guns here. the first was a Kreighoff, which was first put up for sale here, then the other one was mentioned. It does not look like dblhunter's gun sold, which is interesting as the price was excellent, I thought. Even MacD who as I recollect doesn't like Kreighoffs, thought so!

Hi Guys,

I think I should clarify something since BRAIN1 made an attempt to warn everyone that you could get ripped off on Gunbroker. I know all too well how someone could get mislead on an internet website when making a purchase. I've had that happen to me on Ebay. However, I would like to say that I have 26 POSITIVE transactions on Gunbroker. I've never had one single complaint against me or any of my deals. I am not a gun dealer or anyone who sells and buys guns for a profit. All of my purchases have been to use the guns to hunt with. All of my sells have been related to trying to get the money for my next gun that I could not live without. I must admit that I have bought more guns than I have sold on Gunbroker. I have this same Krieghoff listed on Gunsinternational as well. I can provide my personal cell phone number to anyone who wants it to discuss the gun. AND, if need be, I can also have the gun shipped from a dealer to your dealer direct if anyone is hesitant to work with me direct.

I have the gun listed because of a personal financial issue that recently came up in my family. I would never sell this gun to anyone (for this price) for any other reason than this. I purchased the gun and all the extras within the last six months based on what I learned from all of you on this site...and a few others.

I have the upmost respect for your knowledge, experience, wisdom and guidance when it comes to these guns. I would never attempt to state anything that was not true because I'm sure many of you would see right through anything I tried to print that was wrong.

I appologize for rambling on so. I just got a little excited about BRAIN1's post and some sort of infurrence that I may be someone who would rip someone off. If I am over reacting or misunderstanding his posting, then I appologize for my short sightedness.

I want to thank all of you who have posted your positive feedback and comments on my gun and my situation. You guys are great. It warms my heart to know there are still people out there (somewhere) who actually care about others and their problems even though they can't really do anything to help them. I haven't seen that sort of positive response from strangers in a long time. (especially in my career field...law enforcement).

Anyway, I'll stop rambling and close by saying that even after I sell this gun....which does exist by the way, I plan to continue to read this site, and the other sites, to continue my education in this and other subjects. You guys are the best tool anyone could have for learning about such things.

Thanks for what you do, what you've done, and all you'll ever do in the future.

Take Care,

dblhunter
