Guys, I am in the process of putting together some flanged .375 loads using Jamison brass. Anyone have any suggestion as to powder, perhaps Reloder 15 or maybe H4340 and where to start? Magnum or 2 1/2" ? Suggest Graeme wright's book, he has loads in that which you can convert to your powders if he hasn't already done so. . Previously 500N with many thousands of posts !

I use 60 Gr of Rel-15 (Butch Searcy load) with Fed 215 GM primer. Use pinch of fiber fill over the powder and 300 gr North fork bullets. Hopefully will chronograph the loads in a few weeks, and have Butch tweek th regulation if needed.

Are there any of the other "cartridge books" that have 375 Flanged Magnum info besides G. Wright's?

I haven't seen any. I think Graeme Wrights book was data gathered from users and his own data now he has one. Previously 500N with many thousands of posts !

RL15 would not regulate in mine. RL-17, and RL-19 were better. Could not get RL-22 or RL-25 to work as others here have suggested. If I remember correctly on RL-22 & RL-25 I could only get up to about 2375 before I ran out of case capacity. Mac

Guys, I have Gramee Wright's book. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I am going to try Hodgdon 4350 first starting at 72 grains using a 300 grain Hornady round nose. I am shooting Jamison brass. I will keep you posted on how it goes. Thanks for all your help. Personally for a 375 Flanged or a 375 H&H double, I would be very happy with 300gr bullets at 2300 to 2350fps. Easier on the gun, easier on the shoulder, and bad to the bone on game... DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY
