Put a Swarovski 1.5x6 or a Schmidt&Bender 1.25x4 on a Chapuis 9.3?

I'd put the Swarovski; I have an S&B on mine, but I think I like the Swarovski better.

Whichever is lighter and less likely to screw with the regulation. I put on a 1.5-5X Leupold on my CHapuis and it didn't affect the rifle, but I have heard complaints about this before.

Sorry, I should have stated the rifle is being regulated at 100 meters with the scope.

I'm in the other camp. I have a Swarovski (1.1x4 I think) and prefer my S&B 1.25x4. Both have illuminated reticles the flash dot type. The S&B has the better and also the better glass to my eye.

I have an S&B 1.5-6x42 on mine. I like it! Very good scope with a lot of light gathering power.

S&B. I have a 1.5-6 x 42 on my 9.3 x 74 and for me anyway it is the ideal combo for a DR.

I like the 42mm objective on the 1.5x6 for low light. A friend of mine loaned me his 9.3x74 with a 1.5x6x42 Zeiss just a couple days ago and I shot a hog just before dark.

I put a Kahles CSX 1.1-4 on my Chapuis. Great scope.
Then I'd get a good set of swing off mounts.

I have owned several Zeiss, Swarovski and Schmidt&Bender scopes.
I will be fitting a SCHMIDT&BENDER 1.1-4 on my 450-400 when I finally receive it.

Rusty,

Thanks for the link. That scope has a giant field of view at 1.1X. Looks great.
