I personally feel that you should try to handle and shoot as many different DR's as you can. To me, that is the best way for YOU to decide on which one handles and fits the best for YOU! As far as caliber, it depends on what type of hunting you are going to be doing!
We have DR owners that post here on AR that are in your area. Make a post about your interest and I'm sure that you will receive plenty of offers to shoot and handle DR's from fellows here on AR! We have a great bunch of guys here!
