I listed a new Merkel 961L double rifle drilling in the classifieds. this is the newest Merkel double rifle with 21.6" barrels and a 20 gauge 3" magnum shotgun. many new and unique features.

i can e mail pictures or if someone will post them here i'd appreciate it.

it's also listed on gunsinternational.com with pics there under both double rifles and drillings.

this is the perfect boar rifle and a good one for Africa too.

OZ, I'm not Tom,but to answer your question, it is a double rifle drilling, 9.3X74,9.3X74R, by single 20 ga under. This is the perfect way to build a drilling, IMO!

We continental Europeans call this an "express drilling", i.e. 2 rifled + 1 smooth bores. A regular drilling has 2 smooth bores above a rifled one. We also use the term "express" to describe a double rifle.

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.
