The intercepting sear mechanism used at B. Searcy & Co. This video shows how it works. The red colored object is the Hammer the blue colored object is the primary sear, and the green object is the interceptor sear. The video shows the use of a screw driver releasing the primary sear, this illustrates how the interceptor catches the hammer and prevents it from falling. The next segment shows how when the trigger is pulled the interceptor is raised out of the way allowing the hammer to fall. I thought this might be interesting to some of you Butch Searcy | ||

I was out shooting the 450-400 yesterday with the RMR on it. Sighted in and ready to go next month. Iron sights are also on the money. The Leupold scope with the Talley rings is also sighted in and ready for action. Have the very same Leupold and RMR set up ready for the 375 H&H Flanged when it's finished. | |||
