I posted this on Nitroexpress and thought I'd do it here as well. Just something a little different.
This little rifle started life as a j.p. Sauer 22long/ 9mm garden gun. It had been in a fire and both the stock and forend were burnt off. The barres had came apart and the ribs were missing. The barrels were cut off making a monoblock and bored out to accept two marlin microgroove 22 cal. barrels. Both barrels were turned to the same diameter and soldered in the monoblock and chambered to 22 long rifle. Seperate side ribs as well as a quater rib were made to support a folding peep sight and lever style scopre rings with a zeilklein. The extractors had to be modified to extract from both barrels. Converted about 20 years ago but never got around to checkering. Just a toy but many hours to complete. Smiler

Dale,
What a beauty!

I have a J.P.Sauer that is almost identical but singleshot.

Congratlations.

Now that is a cool gun. The only way to make it better would be in a SxS.

I shot a double in 22 L.R. one time, it was for sale but the price was out of my pocket book by a ton of money..I coveted that little rifle to a point of almost developing an ulcer I wanted it so bad! but alas it was not to be, then their was the 22 Hornet and the 30/40 Krag that got away from me...Why couldn't I have been born a billionaire?
