My Merkel 140 .375 H&H clearly shoots the Trophy Bonded bullets best of all the bullets I have tried. However, I cannot buy the bullets and Im forced to buy the Federal factory ammo.

I am going to try the Barnes TSX Hollow Points with the same load data as the Federal factory loads.

Anyone else having the same withdrawels from the Trophy Bonded bullets?

Those TSX's do shoot incredibility accurate. They will work on game with great results.

Hi there,

I shoot and hunt (Africa) with .375 and Barnes 300gr TSX also Banded solid. I don't shoot it from a double, but from a Mauser bolt rifle. If it helps, I've found a load of 69gr of R17 to be excellent and both shoot within an inch of each other. An excellent alternative to the very good Trophy Bonded.
