Too true, I figure he has about 12 months max.

I sometimes wish I had never seen the Hallowell, Schwandt, Barnett, or Champlin websites, or looked at the VCs and Heyms at DSC/SCI. I'd probably have a stock portfolio or something.

That Springer is a very fine looking rifle, built in the 'Golden Age' as George Caswell calls it.

That Springer was an excellent buy!
It was one of Morris' personal rifles and I don't think he had a habit of keeping any duds.
My first double rifle was a Springer too. Still have it.
IMO, Johann Springer was one of the best of the European makers.
