Just received the proto type mount to add a Doctor Holo Sight on my Krieghoff Double Rifle from my gunsmith. Very easy to install and when I mount the rifle I'm looking right at the Dot. Also I should be able to remove the Holo sight and still use the Iron sights without removing the Mount. Anxious to get to the range and field test. Big Grin

Sounds like a good move for increased accuracy for older eyes. Post pix when you get back home.

:ets see the pics when you can as this has to be cheaper than what Kreighoff wants for a scope mount.

I shot a few rounds with it today. Will do the finale tweaking when the weather gets better, but it really works great. I have some pictures but posting them is not going well. I will keep trying.

Gave up on trying to post pictures. Confused Got out to the range again. Sighted in off the shooting sticks. Getting right at 1" groups @ 100 yds. Big Grin
The sight was a little high as i had very little contact with the stock. Went back to my gunsmith and he took the mount the sight mounts on and milled the bottom of it to fit in rear scope mount in the Rib. Now I can mount the Gun with my check down on the Comb and I'm looking right at the orange Dot. Hope to get back out in a few days to test this setup. I will take pictures of before and after if anyone wants to see the finished product?

Thankyou for posting.

Folks
Note how much lower the sight sets in the bottom two pictures compared to the top two.

Are those side plates left over armor from a WWII Panzer Tank? Talk about heavy duty!

We had the option of milling them off, but since the mount is aluminum and weighs nothing I decided to leave them for added protection.

Note: This was made from the original mount you need to buy when you purchase the sight.
