Yes I'm offering this deal again through the DSC and SCI show period.
It is also available with blued or Stainless actions.
Calibers are 450-400-3",450 3 1/4", 470,500.
With this rifle you have a choice of calibers.
You ask why? I'm phasing out the standard actions and will replace them with the long bar and the screw grip long bar actions.
Glen Morovitz is my agent at the DSC convention. He can be found in the Custon gun guild row (GM6-6 table). He has a upgraded 450-400-3" on display that he built using my components.

Sorry about the hyjack!

I think a lot of PHs will be happy about that field grade double in those very useful chamberings, especially the 470 and 500 at that price point!

Butch,

I apologize for the hijack as well but that avatar was wrong. Didn't mean to take away from your great offer. Missed you here at DSC this week.

No problem Mac and Todd, it was disturbing to me as well to the point I was about to delete the post.
Believe me I wish I was there in Dallas myself.
Good people, good food, and drink.

Hi Butch
Are you still selling into South Africa? If yes, what would our pricing be for a standard PH rifle in 500 or 577
Thanks
Ian

Ian,
As long as you get the proper import papers and are willing to pay for the export red tape and shipping, the price is the same for anyone. There is no Field Grade 577 currently.

Butch,

Will you be at SCI Reno and, if so, will you have one of these for inspection?

Thanks

At that price there should be a lot of PHs looking closely at it.

Do you still do business with Paul at GI Wapensmid?

If not do you have a preferred importer to work with?

I looked at the blued one at SCI. I was really looking forward to seeig the field grade as I had a thick stack of Benjamins that I was not planning on taking back home with me. I was sadly disappointed that I was not impressed by what I saw. It did not look as nice as the photos of field grade Searcy's that I've seen or what I saw 2 years ago at the previous Reno SCI. Perhaps it was not quite finished yet. I'll assume that was the case.

Oh yea, and that stack of Benjamins did not make it home with me. They went home with Ken from VC. Smiler

Clayman:

Congratulations, you got yourself a very beautiful rifle.

I believe that is the best deal on the market out there except for a well regulated, muzzle perfect Sabatti. Wink

Shootaway :

The Searcy is a 450 NE. It weighs 10.25 lbs clean. Did not weigh with scope but add about 1 lb. for scope. I am also fitting it with a RMR sight and will have all bvases covered.

I agree with Malek on the value issue. I also have a 450 NE Sabatti with proper regulation &
proper bores. I like the sighting options on the Searcy and will probably sell the Sabatti. The Sabatti weighs 9.75 lbs. clean.
