Todd, You bring up a good point on how the Swift-A's come out quite perfect. Mr Ray Atkins also often commented on this. His thoughts where that it left an almost too perfect hole with minimum damage beyond the penetration. I have found this to be the case on lighter game and now keep them mainly for Buffalo where more penetration is an asset. Woodleigh Round nose bullets on the other hand created more damage BUT do not penetrate as much. These are my lighter game bullet on up to Eland and Zebra and fantastic on Lion and Hyena type game. I however would not like to use them on Buffalo. The Hydo Bullet, providing feeding is reliable and preferably with a little more velocity should cover what both these bullets plus FMJs can provide.

Touched off a couple hydros on the range today. 108.5 grain H1000. No pressure signs in my K-gun. Both rounds within the 10 ring at 50 yards, so i guess they regulate similar to the soft points

Great news as point of impact difference can be an issue when changing weight or length of bullet.

Ozhunter My 465 didn't change POI and I think Geoff tried to do as much as possible to make sure that was the case. Previously 500N with many thousands of posts !

I found similar results to 505G with my 465 as well as my 470. Doesn't seem to matter whether they are Hydros, Woodleigh softs or RN solids or CEB #13s. Al lgroup on top of each other as long as the weights are the same. They also do this with the same powder charge. 465H&H
