Dave, Steve Barnett has 50 rounds of loaded 450 NE #2 ammunition if you want to start shooting right now.

Thanks Biebs. I have some loaded ammo and 2 shell holders that were made by a popular die maker when I ordered my die set. The shell holders are funky and do not fit properly. the maker said he does not make mistakes, I am doing something wrong. I am looking to get at least 1 that will work properly

I would guess by the case getting stuck in the Die.

The only time I've ruined shell holders is when the case is stuck in the die and I've put too much pressure to lower the ram. Usually, if a thin rim case, the rim pulls off, but with a thick rim it may be the shell holder to shatter.

The shell holders I have do not properly fit the rim.
I had to modify them to make the work. They correct for caliber just not machined correctly. I bought them so long ago no recourse

The shell holder did not break. They were not machined to proper size. I bought them to long ago to go back and complain. I filed and ground one to work.would like one that is unmodified and one is on the way. Thanks for your response Dave

It could also be a case problem. The shellholder I have for my 404 cases works perfectly with RWS and Norma made Parker Hale cases but some, not all, of the same batch of cases from fired Kynoch factory ammo did not fit. I had to slightly file the extractor grooves deeper (only a matter of a few thou) on these few cases to solve that problem.

Hopefully Dave's shellholder solves your problem.

Thanks for you comments. I am not sure what the problem was. Hogbreath sent me a shellholder and all my brass fits it fine. I think the ones I had are slightly undersize
