10 bore shoot...slideshow!!
Today I went shooting my Manton 10 bore doublerifle!.

I have not yet the brass casings from Rocky Mountain cartridge....so alcan plastic hull would fill the bill.
My bullets were undersized (.775 versus .793)..so in order to increase diameter of bullet I used teflontape wrapped bullets of 900 grain.
My first load was a "babyload" with only 200 grains of swiss No4. As seen on the video they strike 6 o`clock at point of aim at 25 meters.
The fullpowerloads however was touching eachother sitting approx 2.5" below and a little to the left. Fullpower loads was a a 10 dram or 270 grain swiss No4. Recoil is really of something here...very funny actually Smiler.
I have been very surprised to see how well the rifle regulate. Here on the first session ever shot by me I had expected the gun to shoot "all over the place" with these leadbullets. I have not used any bulletlubricants at all, and the barrels were quit clean after 4x2 shots. The blackpowder residue was easy the clean out.
I have read " The winchester lever legacy" by Clyde Williamson where he use teflontape because the rifling/bore were bigger than his casted bullets...so i thought i could du the same here...and it worked!! dancing
Another forum member here shot two shot with the Manton...and his two shot were almost one ragged hole.
Here is a slideshow where I shot a fullpowerload+ the target+ 2 10`s beside a 45-70. I will never ever understand why anybody calls a 45-70 a "big Bore"...maybe a "pooniebore"....hahaha.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!!
