I was just over on the Nosler website and saw that they are making a Partition for the 470 NE.

Good news Rusty, for all of those who load for the .470. I just bought a Victor Sarasqueta rifle in .458 Win Mag last week. It wouldn't be my FIRST choice in calibre, given that I already have a .450 #2 NE, but at least Nosler is making both the Partition and the solid in .458. As Emeril says, that'll "kick it up a notch"!

Rusty do you have a link to that news? I went to the Nosler website and find no listing of the 470 bullet!

Rusty,

If their .458 projectiles are any indicator ... they're gonna be quite expensive.

I guess I am having a little difficulty figuring out what advantage the Partition would have over the tried and proven Woodleigh.

Like when ever any other bullet comes out,
just an opportunity to burn more powder
before returning to the original load and bullet !!! Big Grin
