| The Rogue River Rifle Co. has been absorbed into Rigby USA. I believe the action used was a modified Merkel shotgun action. The rifles are not highly regarded by the AR members but I found them OK. I had a 500 NE and it shot well but was very heavy. They are now priced too high for what you get and I feel Butch Searcy offers a better gun for a lot less money. I would also consider a Heym or Chapuis before the Rigby for less money. |
