Well its been about a month or so since I joined the double rifle club and so far its been great fun. The biggest issue is finding ammo and components in New Zealand - not a lot of demand so supply sucks. But I have a supply of reduced loads (403grn leadcast bullets) and these are regulating well in my gun. I'm using these to get familiar with the rifle and I'm looking into a few options for full power loads. Here is a pic of my 50yrds test shots - right & left with front hand resting on the bag: A couple of video clips of friend having a go with the rifle :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3YbBzhU7xE and a newby having a go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ca9Z4p1UOnA Spring is starting around here, the pigs are moving about and pretty soon I'll have the rifle blooded - I can't wait to bag my first animal with the 470. Very nice shooting. Those bullets should work well on the pigs. | |||
