Here is the new display. Some nice wood this year.
I knew this one wouldn't last long... great wood on a new "large frame" 470 NE.
Cell phone pics aren't so good... stop by and see us in booth 4301.
The new 577 is there too.

SnowwolfeWOW! Nice wood is an understatement. Absolutely stunning. Even better is seeing 4 lefties on the rack.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Eland SlayerWOW!! Incredible wood on those guns!!
11 January 2014, 01:20
dpcdVery nice; something seems very wrong with the first four in the rack and I can't figure out what it is.....

I agree....they all seem to be wrong-handed

ozhunterI like the "Large Frame". Now only need shorter Fore-End.

Lhook7These temptations are the only reason I am happy I couldn't make it to DSC this year!

subsailor74New Guy - thanks for taking the time to show me your rifles at DSC. Even though I shoot Searcy and VC doubles, I would be proud to own a Heym.

BiebsLooks like that large frame 470 has 26" barrels?
15 January 2014, 00:27
N E 450 No2Yes Biebs, they do have 26" barrels.
The large frame does handle and shoot nice.
You can get them shorter.
I do know a few guys at the factory, I can get you a double with one barrel at 24" and the other at 20" if you like.

Safari JamesChris: Great seeing you at the show. The new display is awesome and you had it stocked with fine rifles! BTW: I can't wait to get my .577 in April and of course the .375 FL in May. Save travels.

Long barreled Double Rifles look like shotguns to me. 24" is perfect unless on a 577 or 600. Then 26" looks "balanced" to my eye.
But hey, what do you expect from Justin? He thinks Blasers look nice.

The NorwegianBe kind Todd..
If not we have to put you on a moped again ! And that will be an Italian Vespa scooter old model

The more I know, the less I wonder !

Heym SR20Very nice and glad too see that very good rifle makers are making rifles with cheek pieces etc on the correct side. A cheek piece on the left side of the stock is just plain wrong - only thing worse are ambidextrous stocks with cheek pieces on both sides.

N E 450 No2Biebs
Most of our clients order 26" barrels.
Heym SR20 Heym does not charge any extra for a left handed double rifle. Also on a left handed gun the triggers are proper for a left hander as well, ie. the front trigger fires the left barrel, and the triggers are "turned" for a left hander.
Also, we have made several double rifles with a straight stock for a father and son where one is left handed and the other is right handed, so both could use the rifle.

Mac, it is so disappointing to find out that all your taste is in your mouth.
[Good to see you in Dallas, even if you were beerless.]

Scooters are extra, but I hear they do attract fat chicks!

BiebsTodd, you'll have to make arrangements for "Fat Chicks" with the hotel :-)
