Just got cases for my 500/416 Krieghoff Big Five. The cases are huge!

I have read on local forums that the bottlenecked cartridge is suboptimal for doubles because it operates with high pressure. Looking at max pressure charts I can not understand this. It is close to 500 NE pressure and lower than 416 Rigby and a lot less than 375 h&h and similar. It seems when people see bottlenecks they automatically assume high pressure... Any thoughts on this?

What you said is true, so load so as to not exceed normal pressures for the .500/.416, and you have nothing to worry about. If you haven't already done so, look at Kreighoff's website, for more details about this cartridge.
