Loaded some 270 speer with 59 gr RX 15. at 50 yards, the two shots from right barrel touching and the left barrel 3/8" apart from each other. The groups were left 1 1/2" of cl and the right is 1 1/2" right of Center line.

Two groups 3" apart from each other, left barrel left right barrel right.

If I am not mistaken, I need to increase velocity?

The little gun has winner written all over it.

Right you are, but not by much! You want the left barrel to print on the left, and the right to print on the right, with the center of each barrels group within the composite group about 1" apart, this will give you a composite group of about 2" slightly egg shaped, along the horizonal line of elevation ! Then go hunting! thumb

Thanks, that little Chapois (spelling) is a sweet little rifle. It, along with the Heym 470 shot great today.

Are the groups high or low? This will determine velocity adjustments.

That depends. What did this load chronograph?

This was my first outing with the rifle, raining so I didn't set up chrony. The rifle is scoped, it shoots 4" high at 50 yards with the 270 speer and 59 rx 15. will load some 60 gr and shoot over chronograph.

left barrel shooting left and right barrel shooting right with the 59 grains
