Andre,

Nice and steady. Looks like a good set-up, too.

Thanks,

It is only the second time I shoot this rifle, I plan to practice more rapid aimed fire with 4 shots.

The load was 500 grn GS Custom solids at 2050fps.

Cheers,

André

Two questions:
1. Do your (left hand) fingers pinch around the 2 spare rounds you are holding, when you fire the gun?
2. What was the extra (left) hand motion when you chambered the 2 spare rounds?
Thanks, Peter.

Cool setup. The little smirk after you put the rifle down says it all.

Peter,

1. The two extra rounds are just there, NO pinching.

2. The right chamber cartridge did not come all the way down.

Cheers,

André

Thanks Andre, I will have to try that. I was afraid that I would drop one (or both) under recoil!
Peter.

Yesterday me and my friend practiced in shooting big bore before DG hunting. Here a couple of videos of shooting K-gun in .500 NE. There are some mistakes in position, but it is just a training.

Sorry, gentlemen, but we are accustomed to much more professional shooting videos here on AR, such as those produced by our very own shootaway. The two amateurish attempts posted here simply don't measure up to the required quality standards.

A shooting video should not actually depict any motion at all. Simply focussing on a target for 30 seconds or so is sufficient. The sound of gunfire is acceptable, and an occasional puff of dust rising from the backstop is acceptable, but DO NOT ACTUALLY SHOW SOMEONE SHOOTING! If circumstances actually require the shooter to be visible, he MUST NOT SMILE!!! Clumsiness should be apparent, and not hidden.

The video must end with, or be posted together with, a view of a random scattering of holes evenly distributed across the target, which should be at least 20 inches square. No discernible pattern or grouping should be discernible, and there must be at least 20 holes on each target sheet.

Finally, all videos must be accompanied by a written explanation of what was learned from that particular shooting session, a complete listing of alibis and excuses, and most importantly a detailed description of the extreme expertise and talent possessed by the shooter. NO EXCEPTIONS.

I trust that future efforts will fall within these guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.

jwm, can you show us "much more professional shooting videos here on AR"?

I personally wanted to show shooting technique, recoil of 500 NE and recoil management of my friend. I think almost everybody here are good shooters and can see all useful nuances or mistakes without explanation.
