I have. They work great. Mine were factory Federal loads.

I also shot a dead elephant with one in Botswana just to see how far it would penetrate. I don't remember the exact penetration but I believed I could easily use an A Frame for a successful heart/lung shot on an elephant.

I got word that I need to reduce powder load by a couple of grains.I think I might load some.I like the soft pure copper jacket.I feel that they are much easier on the rifling compared to gilding metal jackets.I shot them exclusively in one of my Rugers and the barrel outlasted any of my others.

What I have found on my gun is that there is no significant difference between the A- Frames and the Barnes solid. I have forgotten the exact name.
