George Coswell appraised my 470NE at $16000 2 years ago. It is in perfect condition,Special wood and colour d=case hardening that looks new. Champlin has one on the web for $14500, but is not nearly as nice looking as mine. I paid considerably less than appraised value 3 years ago, but as you must know DR prices are rising all the time. Hope this helps. It would be nice to see a 500NE by William Douglas...anyone have any idea where one could be hiding?

They look identical to the 470, you can't really tell the difference from looking at them IMHO.
