Hi all

Just looking at a double made by Otto Seeling, in 9.3*74R, It got what the seller say is a Clamshell action. What is that?

To it looks like a box lock, with "clams" on the side.

Thanks for looking

The standing breech is joined to the water table
by a reinforcing piece the wraps around the breech end of the barrels.
If this makes sense..

PM me your email address and I'll send you a picture. I cannot post it here. It has nothing to do with the type of lock. It's the reciever.
