Beautiful! Will anyone be in Reno or will you be tied up making guns? Brett DRSS Life Member SCI Life Member NRA Life Member WSF Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick. And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too. May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep. May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip. -Seth Peterson

Brett and PSmith we wil not be in reno this year, as we are stuck at the factory making guns, we would also like it to be a presentation of our full line and there is not enough hours in the day for us to get that ready to the show. Hopefully next year and if we are in the states with guns, i will be sure to tell you here, so if you are nearby, you can come around for a private show. best peter

Peter, A sidelock, rising bite double, but the strikers are not bushed? Seems as if it would be a useful and quality touch. GRateful for your comment. Regards, Tim

Hi Peter, I would suggest that if you want to come to SCI next year, try to buddy up with another exhibitor that has already been there. To get a good booth and setup the 1st run can be very costly like around $20,000.00 USD as a single exhibitor. Would love to see you there I have some close friends that live in the Reno area and would be more than happy to put you up for your stay.

One of the last things that is done when building a DR is drilling the firing pins and counter boring the bushes. It prevents misalignment. They are spotted from the center of the finished barrels. If you look at the third picture of the rear of the action you can see no firing pin (striker) holes. Those are working alignment marks on the face that you can see.

I have just read my reply and it is not clearly what I meant to say. I implied that YOU had to be an FFL, I did not mean that... You order a Rifle from us and when it is ready it is delivered to an FFL of your nomination by courier after clearing US customs and paying the US customs fees. Or you can contact US customs, pay the importation duty by showing them your invoice, and then collect your rifle from England if you prefer. Best Peter

That is correct. The strikers are indeed bushed, the actions you are looking at are just not at that stage of completion. The locks only have assembly screws fitted etc.etc. Best Peter
