It would just be missing the "intercepting sear" bar that you see in the picture; that piece with the downward facing hook is the intercepting sear which will not let the hammer fall unless the trigger is pulled. You can see that when you pull the trigger, the intercepter sear is pushed up and our of the way so the hammer can fall. If the trigger is not pulled and you drop your rifle and the sear is jarred out of engagement, the hammer can only fall until the intercepter catches it. That is why some people like it, but I don't need it. 99% of double rifles ever made don't have them. It is a safety feature, however.
