J D

I use 65 gr of IMR 4831 with the 286 gr Nosler Partition, 286 Woodleigh softs and solids.

Start with 63 grains and work up.

I have used these loads in NA Canada and Zimbabwe with excellent results.

They also shoot great in my Blaser D 99 Duo.

N E 450 No2,

Have you by chance used the North Fork Softs or Cup Point Solids in your Chapuis?

JD,

I chrono'd 4 of the Oryx loada and got 2360 fps at my altitude of 6400'.

RWS cases, Fed mag primers and 56.0 grains of R- 15 allowed me to duplicte the factory velocity with your two bullets of choice.

There is no need for fillers in 9,3x74R, if you find a need go to a slower or less dense powder.

Mike at NF does not recommend using his softs in double rifles at this time as they have a solid section behind the lead that is full diameter.

I have used his Solids in my 450 No2. They are great bullets.

I have not tried them in my 9,3 yet.

The Solids are designed so the shank of the bullet does not touch the barrel, only the grooves of the bullet do.
