I visited our major national UK fieldsports fair yesterday and handled a new Joseph Lang and Sons 470 Over and under double. It was built on a Browning B25 action and handled very well. I have never seen this calibre in anything other than a side by side before. The price, whilst still expensive was a lot cheaper than other English made doubles ( $46,000.00) What are members views?

Mr Jolly I have not seen the J Lang O/U 470 , but Heym makes a very strong O/U double rifle in 470NE, amoung other dangerous game chamberings. I'm not a real fan of O/U double rifles for dangerous game use, but the Heym is as solid as a bank vault, and would be something to look at if O/Us are what you like. I beleive it is less costly as well as being strudier IMO! ..............good hunting ....Mac >>>===(x)===> MacD37, ...and DUGABOY1 DRSS Charter member "If I die today, I've had a life well spent, for I've been to see the Elephant, and smelled the smoke of Africa!"~ME 1982 Hands of Old Elmer Keith
