AR'ers,

I just acquired a set of "Jeffrey" .22 Hornet SxS Chopper Lump barrels.

Now I need a rifle / Shotgun to fit them to.

Dimensions:

Bore center to center = .915
Breech width = 1.925"
Breech ht. = 1.060"

Any suggestions?

JW

You would have to have the firing pins changed (the SG firing pins would be too large in diameter), but I'll check the centers and see if this 410 would work. It would be a cool set in .410 & 22 Hornet.

The .410 is too small. Firing pin centers measured .800".

Interstingly, I also measured a 28-gauge Webley action, and it was practically dead-on at .915".

The other dimensions on the action matched up nicely to your needs as well.

Sound like you need a 28-gauge Webley and a good barrel fitter.

I had both the .410 & 28 gauges here and measured them with a set of calipers. The 410 is mine, the 28 is not. But I bet the 28 could be bought.

Send me a PM if you need any more info.

Give David Yale a call or Butch Searcy, One of them will solve your problem for you and even build the gun.
