A Jewish Rabbi and a Catholic Priest had their houses of worship across the street from one another. Usually they avoided each other but one day on the side walk they came face to face as they rounded a corner. Being polite, they each greeted the other and continued on their way. After a few steps the priest turned and asked the rabbi, "Tell me, and be honest, have you ever partaken of that evil and unclean meat, pork?" After a moment's hesitation the rabbi confessed that once, long ago, he tasted bacon but asked forgiveness and never ate it again.

Then the rabbi asked the priest, "I was honest with you and now you be honest with me. Have you ever been with a woman?" The priest waited in deep thought for a minute and replied that he had been with a woman once, long ago in seminary school. It only happened once and he asked forgiveness and never was with a woman after that.

The rabbi thanked the priest for his honesty and they started on their way. After a few steps the rabbi turned and said, "Father, it's a hell of a lot better than bacon, isn't it?"

and less calories to boot...

Yes it is better than bacon but thankfully I don't have to choose between them! haha
