Groan indeed. Now heres another true story;Boy Scouts Honor. This happened when we were in college. My roomy Doug went out "hunting" with his SMLE as back then all we had was trash rifles + a hunger for venison. He sees this buck with a great rack + drops him right then + there. When he goes to the dead deer there was a blue ribbon with a bell around his neck; + in the distance he was hearing small children calling "Frosty.Frosty!" OH SHIT he says! I asked him what he did after that. He said he gutted the deer + left the ribbon + bell on the gut pile.A true friend over the years but the opitiomy of the saying "If you wanted sympathy, you should have gone somewhere else."

Never mistake motion for action.

Probably saved them from getting gored.

I had a good friend almost killed by a "tame " buck.

Punctured lungs broken ribs ect.
