A Frenchman, an Englishman and a New Yorker are captured by cannibals. The cannibal chief says:" We will cook you in a pot and eat you and then we will uise your skins to make canoes. However, you have one request that will be granted. You can elect how to die.

The Frenchman says he wants a sword. He shouts " Vive la France" and stabs himself.

The Englishman asks for a pistol. He sshouts: " Long live the Queen" and shoots himself.

The New Yorker asks for a fork. The cannibal chief is puzzled but hands over the fork.

The New Yorker proceeds to stab himself repeatedly all over his body and leaves really gaping holes.

The cannibal chief screams at him: " What are you doing?"

The New Yorker says: " So much for your lousy canoe!"
