I've heard people claim that winning a lottery can destroy your life. Up until now, I couldn't see how!

I won the lottery once ( a few times really) and it didn't ruin my life but rather enriched it. I drew a sheep tag!!!

My wife may feel differently but I cannot help the way others feel! LOL

True story here. A friend of mine from college won the Tx. state lottery several years ago, I forgot how many millions. Right then I quit playing. I figured the odds were bad enough, to begin with, but the odds of 2 people that knew each other were even worse. Incidentally, his wife at the time was from the U.K.+ decided to divorce him + claim all the money. Doesn't work that way in Texas honey; the best you can get is half unless you want to give it all to a lawyer + then where are you?

Seems a few years back someone won it twice.
At least that's what my senile memory says.

Many years ago we had a deer lease in Evant, Tx. There was a cafe in the town where we took our meals. Seems the guy who owned the place was from Evant but had moved to Florida + over the course of time won the FLA. state lottery then moved back to Evant, bought this cafe + continued to play until the money was all gone. That part was true + this must be as well. There was a farmer that won the lottery + they asked him if having all this money would change him or his lifestyle. He said, "No, I'll just keep on farming until it's all gone."

Yes, someone did win it twice.

Thomas Hollywood Henderson, former Dallas Cowboy.

Second jackpot wasn't that large, but two major wins nonetheless.

That is a BIG gal, but she needs to have her mouth washed out with soap!
Peter.

Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright, that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong;

Yes, she does Pete, but looking at the bright side, she just scaled 10 on the Karma scale. She most likely REALLY needs the soap now. Big Grin
