The last post, Mathematical Viewpoint, reminded me of this one. A mathematician and an engineer are presented with this problem. They are at one end of a room and at the other end is a gorgeous blond bimbo in full heat. They are told that they can have her. The only hitch is that they can only progress over half the distance at a time.

Can't do it, says the mathematician. You'll never get all the way. The engineer smiled. "Yup, but I can get close enough to do the job done!"
