Someone asked him about it.He replied that he had to get out of the sport because it was hurting his hands.

I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for Mr. Hope and all he's done through the years.

Hope was a man of great humor...and wisdom.

He put on a damn fine USO show, too. I know he boosted my spirits. Or maybe it was the Goldiggers!
