Having grown up on the East Coast I'm quite familiar with the exceptional quality of tomatoes grown there. However, 45 years in California has taught me that soil West of the Rockies is too alkaline to successfully grow a tasty tomato. Fed up with this nonsense, I decided to protest at our local supermarket one Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately, I was attacked because of what I wrote on my sign:

I’d rather eat pussy with hair on it than any of of your tomatoes.

Well, it's all a question of taste. Here on my place in Texas, I have alkaline soil, but it makes the best tomatoes, + I can a bunch of great salsa every year. As I said, it is strictly a matter of taste, tomatoes, +/or performing cunnilingus on a pre-pubescent girl; but to each their own.
