Lucy and Richard, an elderly couple, were recently attending church
services at a little chapel in The Villages, in Florida.

About halfway through the sermon, Richard took a pen and paper from the bench and wrote a note which he handed to Lucy.

The note said: "I just let out a silent fart; what do you think I
should do ?"

Lucy scribbled back, "Put a new battery in your hearing aid."
