A vampire bat comes back to the cave one night covered with blood. He only wants to get a decent night's sleep but the other bats keep pestering him about where he got all the blood.

Finally the vampire bat, realizing that he will never get a night's sleep otherwise, tells the others to follow him.

They all fly out of the cave as the vampire bat leads them across the valley, through a canyon and then through a forest of trees. It is here that the vampire bat pauses and points to a particular tree: " Do you see that tree?"

The others are in a frenzy by now and all say: " YES! YES!

The vampire bat says: " Good! Because I sure the hell didn't!".
