Amazing what comes to your mind when sitting on a stand, looking for deer, and finding nothing but coyote crap in the woods: --Making too much noise in the woods, walking in dry leaves? Just turn off your hearing aid-see, nice and quiet. --Take an extra Ginko memory pill before going out, so you remember which pocket you put your cough medicine, and which pocket has the DOE-in-RUT lure bottle. --Take a Viagra before going out- just keeps your boots drier when peeing in the woods. --Bring Nexium along to camp, to counteract the cook's favorite breakfast-blue cheese, jalapino, and fried salami omelette. Lanny from NY: Good for you! How old are you? Ever been shot at? I bet you make your woman real proud of you ,what? 3 times a night-every night? I'm 75 and don't use Viagra.I shot a Cape buffalo at 35 yards. Have you ever done that? ( You sound like a once a year deer hunter sounding off in camp) I have been shot at. One thing I never did when I was your age was to make fun of the old. In my day it was considered the action of a coward. I guess times have changed and creeps like you (and reloaderman) can hide behind the anonymity of the internet. Too bad. If you are what we have to depend on in a future war, God help us all. | |||

hey, I am an old fart and I enjoyed the post. In camp, however, it always best to have a few young bucks around to do the heavy lifting: (Son, go get that jar of Dickle from in the tent) whilst you bore them to tears about how it was way back when.  | |||
