Charges dropped against grandfather of Dalquist case suspect BRAINERD, Minn. -- Charges have been dropped against the grandfather of a Crow Wing County man wanted in the death of Erika Dalquist. In court Monday, Norman Myears, 65, agreed not to impede any further in the murder case against his grandson, William. William Myears is accused of killing Dalquist, 21, whose skeletal remains were found over the weekend on his grandfather's farm near here. After the discovery, Norman Myears rammed a county squad car with a manure spreader and dropped a load on the police vehicle. He spent Sunday night in jail. His grandson remains at large.
